॥कालाग्निशमनम् स्तोत्रम्॥

कामये कालाग्नि शमनम् कामये कालाग्नि शमनम्।
कालकालं करुणालवालम् कालभैरवम्॥

I long for the Pacifier of the Fire of Time
I long for the Pacifier of the Fire of Time
Destroyer of Time, Ocean of Compassion, Kalabhairava

मायाजालं मदिरालोलम्। मुनिजनपालं महाभीकरशूलम्॥
He is a maze of Maya
As He enjoys wine.
But He is the Protector of the sages,
And the bearer of the terrifying trident.

पिङ्गल जटाजूटम् पादोधावित खेटं।
गर्जनोज्ज्वल विस्फोटं प्रस्थान महर्भाटम्‌॥
With fiery red locks tied over His head
Planets are seen rising like specs of dust
From His feet with a an explosive roar
As He marches forth

शिरश्चन्द्रखन्ण्डम् भालाग्निकुण्डम्।
भ्रामित कालदण्डम् कम्पमान जगदण्डम्॥
With the crecent moon on His head
And a pot of fire on His forehead.
The staff of Time rotating in His hands
As the whole whole world quakes in fear.
